U.S. Representative Eric Swalwell (CA-15) and the United States Postal Service (USPS) will host a ceremony to name the Dublin Post Office in honor of Dr. James ‘Jim’ Kohnen. Swalwell introduced H.R. 1671 to name the Dublin Post Office for the late Dr. Kohnen, a 30-year Army veteran and Tri-Valley public servant, in April 2013.  His bill was signed into law by President Obama in August 2014.  Jim was the Treasurer of the TriValley Democratic Club for 20 years.
